Kurdistan regional government (KRG) Ministry for the
Region for Civil Society Affairs calls for
applications for 2008 Civic Awards
On the recommendation of KRG Prime Minister

the Office of Mr George
Mansour, Minister for the Region for Civil Society
Affairs, has announced the 2008 Civic Awards to
recognise and honour the vital work of civil society
organisations and activists in the Kurdistan Region.
The competition is open to both individuals working
in civil society and to civil society organisations.
The winners will be selected by a qualified
independent committee representing the ministry and
other organisations, and approved by the Minister.
They will receive monetary and other awards.
The winners will be announced at the 2008 Civic
Awards Festival.
The deadline for submitting applications is 10th May
2008.
