ERBIL-Hewlêr, Kurdistan region 'Iraq', —
President of Iraq’s Kurdistan region Massoud Barzani
on Saturday called on the Higher Security Committee
not to interfere in the upcoming elections, but to
protect polling centers.
“President Massoud Barzani met today with the Higher
Committee for Elections and asked them not to
interfere in elections…,” according to a statement
published Saturday on the official web site of the
Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).
The president urged the committee to protect voting
centers and to provide all facilities for election
monitors. |
