France: Five Kurds arrested in Paris
French-Turkish relations fine when it comes to Kurds
PARIS, — Five people have been taken into
custody on Monday as a result of house raids
targeting Kurds in the French capital, Paris, ANF
news agency reported.

Armenian genocide bill has not touched the

The house raids in Essonne and Val-de-Marne areas
were reportedly carried out within the scope of
anti-terror prosecutor Thierry Fragnoli’s
investigation within the framework of “financing of
terrorism”. The names of two detainees were reported
as Yavuz Aras and İnal Çelik.
While the house raids have been France state’s first
operation against Kurds in 2012, Paris Criminal
Court on 4 January raided a Turkish coffeehouse and
arrested five Kurdish young people who were
sentenced to five months suspended imprisonment.
